#TopTenTuesday | 24th June 2025: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the Second Half of 2025 #Top10Tuesday #bookblogger #bookish #amreading #TTT #BookTwitter #booktwt #BookX #BookSky #damppebbles

Hello and a very warm welcome to damppebbles. It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post. I’ve decided to take part in That Artsy Reader Girl’s Top Ten Tuesday meme to mix things up a little here at damppebbles. Add a little bit of variety to our bookish weeks.

The meme was originally created by The Broke and the Bookish but has lived with Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl since January 2018. It was created to encompass a love of books, of lists and to bring readers together. If you would also like to take part then you’re very welcome: the more, the merrier. Just make sure you link back to Jana’s post every week. If you don’t have a blog then no problem, just add your list to the comments below.

This week’s theme is Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the Second Half of 2025. I struggled a little with a similar list at the start of the year because I’m never aware of what is due to be published and when. Only when books are added to NetGalley or proofs start to be sent out do I go ‘ah ha! I really want to read that!’. I’ve been trying to keep track of when my favourite authors have new books out but I still think I’ve missed a few from this list. And to prove HOW behind I am with new releases, the majority of the books below are publishing in the Summer months (which, for the purposes of this statement, includes September!). I really am rubbish at this! Oh well, at least any books published towards the end of year will be a lovely surprise to me 😂

1. The Final Vow by M.W. Craven (published 14th August 2025)

2. Serial Killer Support Group by Saratoga Schaefer (published 20th November 2025)

3. How to Survive Camping: The Man with No Shadow by Bonnie Quinn (published 14th August 2025)

4. The Babysitter Lives by Stephen Graham Jones (published 15th July 2025)

5. Fiend by Alma Katsu (published 16th September 2025)

6. Little Girls by Ronald Malfi (published 7th October 2025)

7. The Killer Question by Janice Hallett (published 4th September 2025)

8. Let the Bad Times Roll by Alice Slater (published 10th July 2025)

9. Chapter One by Michael Wood (published 14th August 2025)

10. The Bolthole by Peter Papathanasiou (published 31st July 2025)

I’ll let you in on a secret. This list actually started as my TTT for 10th June – Bookish Wishes. As soon as I started to compile my wishes list I realised that everything I had, everything on the list was a forthcoming release! And only then (…about 40 minutes later…) did I realise that there was probably a theme coming up soon where I had to share ‘my most anticipated books releasing the second half of the year’. So I changed the header and the date and here we are!

Are you looking forward to reading any of these books? What’s your most anticipated new release in the second half of the year? Are you taking part in Top Ten Tuesday this week? Let me know in the comments.

So there we have it! If you fancy joining in next week then head on over to That Artsy Reader Girl’s blog to find out what the next topic is!
